Street Music Week - Day 1

It appears the 12th year of Street Music Week is off to a slow start. I didn't see as many musicians as in past years. I broke a twenty into ones and spread the wealth as I took photos. It's happening all week so be sure to drop something into a bucket when you get a chance.

Graduation Party

We had family and friends over today for a barbecue and pool party for Steph's graduation. Steph's friends sat around. It was the younger kids who had all the fun.

 Guest of honor.

 Living the high life.

 Ready for splashdown.

Internet famous now.

There's A Strange Sight

Steph brought this to my attention. An aircraft heading east--the top contrail coming from the tree on the right--veered south. Did the pilot just realize he was headed in the wrong direction or something?

Felts Field Open House Ride

My oldest, Geoff, is home for Steph's graduation. We took the Greer bikes, Top and One, out on a ride. We met up with our neighbors, Bob and Donna, who recently purchased road bikes and are keen to get out on the road. From Mission Park we road to Felts Field to check out the open house. We saw lots of cool planes and a mysterious woman in fishnet stockings. On the way back to Mission Park the bottom bracket on my single speed developed a slight wobble and the left crank arm was hitting the frame. Rather than make it worse I stopped and waited for Bob to pick me up in his truck.

My, How Time Flies

Stephanie, number three of three children, graduated high school today. In August she'll be off to college and Kathy and I will have a big house all to ourselves.

D-Day

Marking the 70th anniversary of D-Day with a big honkin' flag.

National Donut Day warranted a pickup from Donut Parade.
