Hobblin' Around Tonight

After not running for a week, I headed out at lunch today for my normal barefoot jaunt in Riverfront Park and along the Centennial Trail. Somehow I forgot everything I thought I had down only a week ago and ended up with a blister on each foot. It sure gets frustrating--and painful--at times.

I already know the answer, but I can't not ask. Is wearing shoes totally out of the question?

Not at all, Pat. I wear shoes at work, when I'm riding and most of the time when I run. It's like how you sank your teeth into setting up the hammock within the the allotted 2.5 minutes. My challenge is nailing down the technique of running barefoot. I want to be consistent at running comfortably. And when I'm doing it right I feel like I can run forever.
