How Did Spokane Rate This?

I saw this notice over on Pam's House Blend about the Department of Housing and Urban Development choosing Spokane "as the 4th national location for a Listening Session on housing discrimination facing members of the LGBT community." The other cities were Chicago, new York, and San Francisco.

It's scheduled at 1:00-3:00pm, June 26, at the Moran Prairie Library at 6004 S. Regal Street in Spokane.

From the HUD site:

JOIN A HISTORIC LISTENING SESSION ON HOUSING DISCRIMINATION FACING LESBIAN, GAY, BI-SEXUAL AND TRANSGENDER (LGBT) INDIVIDUALS AND COUPLES! HUD’s Assistant Secretary for Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity John D. TrasviƱa has chosen the Inland Northwest as the 4th national location for a Listening Session on housing discrimination facing members of the LGBT community. Please come and share your experiences with the current Administration, putting a face on LGBT discrimination. Share your ideas on how our Government can ensure that members of the LGBT community are given equal services in housing!

They want you to register if you want to attend.
