Locavore 100-Mile Challenge - Day 4 - Coasting To The Finish

Breakfast: Two hard boiled eggs and a glass of apple cider.

Morning snack: An apple and a peach.

Lunch: Leftovers from last night's dinner. Grilled lamb chops, garlic
mashed potatoes, yellow squash with parsley and corn on the cob. I forgot the apple cider at home so I drank water. After eating I went for a short walk and resisted all the temptations at Pig Out in the Park. Piece of cake. Mmmmmm...cake.

Afternoon snack: Three apples.

Dinner: Grilled sirloin steak (Olsen farms), mashed White Cal potatoes (Olsen), a roasted onion (Olsen), yellow squash (my garden), and Spokane Family Farm milk. I cut the onion up and added it to the meat and potatoes for some much needed flavor.

I have two eggs left for tomorrow morning. Lunch will be leftovers from tonight and last night. I have half of a box of apples. I have another steak to grill for tomorrow night. And there's enough cider and milk left for tomorrow. Piece of cake. Mmmmmmm...cake.

Cake sounds pretty good. On Saturday.
